Undine Falls Falls

Undine Falls is a stunning waterfall located in the northeastern part of Yellowstone National Park. The falls are easily accessible from the park's Grand Loop Road, making it a popular destination for visitors exploring the park. As you approach the falls, you'll hear the sound of rushing water and feel the cool mist on your face. The falls drop over a rocky ledge and into a deep pool below, surrounded by lush green forests and rocky cliffs. The falls are especially beautiful in the spring and early summer, when the surrounding forests and meadows are in full bloom. Visitors can take a hike to get a closer look, or simply enjoy the view from one of the many overlooks along the road.

These falls have a pretty big parking lot. And they are a few feet off the grand loop road. You only have to walk down about 6 stairs to see them. And they are pretty nice.

This 3 step waterfall is about 4 miles east of Mammoth Hot Springs on Grand Loop/Tower Mammoth Road in the Northern part of Yellowstone.Undine (pronounced UNdeen) was named for wise and usually female water spirits from German mythology who lived around waterfalls and who could gain souls by marrying mortal men.It is hidden when you are driving by so make sure you stop in the small pullout and enjoy the falls. You can also hike one way 4.2 miles on Lava Creek Trail to get a closer look at it but beware of grizzlies that like the area!
