I loved this walk! I was passing through town with my dog and found this on a google search. Loved the fact that there was a spot right there for my dog to get in the river and beautiful sidewalk to walk on. Highly recommend

I enjoyed biking and walking on the Greenway during our Asheville visit. Great paved trail, maybe 6 miles long.

Great place to people or dog watch. It is great to have the parks connected so you can bike for an hour.

Of all of the things to do in Asheville, this does not need to be on the short list unless you have a dog that needs to go to the dog park. We found the area congested, part of the trails closed off, loud and very industrial nearby.

We went here to bike and were disappointed. The trail quickly degrades to a dirt path, unimproved and winds through homeless tents and junk/trash on the west side of the river right after the dog park. Further, if you wanted to bike the west side of the river, which is improved, paved bike paths, from this park you have to bike across a busy old skinny bridge with car traffic. We used this park as a biking base camp. It was a mistake. Don’t! Instead, park at any of the places on the west side of the river, and bike on the west side only (nice bike path there).
