Always a treat to visit this church. Mass is beautiful and the environment sacred.

This beautiful church of worship for the students of Notre Dame is a marvel to see. The collection of Stained Glass windows I was told is the largest of any church in the USA. My first visit was an eye-opener and I will cherish this for a long time. The Grotto behind the Basilica and other places around campus made it seem like I was visiting a Holy Pilgrimage site in Europe. God bless Notre Dame!

This is mind-blowing for the art and architecture. It ranks up there with some of the grand European churches, although smaller, and reminds me a lot of the Cathedral of Albi (France). The vaulted ceilings are covered in brilliant blue celestial designs, and the walls have brilliant murals. I was breathless walking through here. I don't think it's that well publicised, but definitely make time to stop in here. On football game days, it is a tradition that the team comes here for mass, then parades from here to the football stadium as fans line the route.

To find a Basilica like this on a college campus is amazing. When you step though the doors it opens up into an amazingly beautiful space. Peace and calm seem to surround you. You can feel it. Incredible pipe organ above. Beautiful alter. Just a powerful experience.
