tripadvisorNice little cemetery with signs that tell about the history of the family. Go here then go to Namaqua park just up the street. Worth a quick stop.
MoreA lot work by the Loveland Historical Society has gone into making the Medina Cemetery an interesting place to visit. If you are interested in the Loveland areas early history the cemetery is worth a look.
MoreThe Loveland history here is interesting, plus the park is fabulous. There is a playground, picnic tables and cover, grills and wonderful path along the Big Thompson River.
MoreYeah, pretty exciting stuff. Take the wife and kids here and get ready to listen to a lot of complaining.
MoreThis cemetery was virtually lost and forgotten until recently. The Historic Society has taken it on as a project and making wonderful changes to the area. It started with the grass (and weds) being mowed; then a few stones appeared; a little later a few white crosses emerged. In June 2016, a black iron fence was added that makes it appear official. There are a few explanatory signs that help you understand the historical significance. It is worth the short detaur, but probably not a special trip (unless you are fascinated by history).
