Village Gate Square in Rochester is more than just a run-of-the-mill shopping and commercial center. The shopping and entertainment center is located in Rochester's Arts District Neighborhood of the Arts. It is a good place for some retail therapy and window shopping. With multiple art exhibits displayed inside, the center is a place buzzing with art related activities. The gastronomy of the place is also rich with eateries and restaurants serving delicious food for post shopping hunger pangs. There are commercial and residential spaces available inside the center. A one stop shop for everything, Village Gate Square is one of Rochester's best resource.

Reviews
tripadvisorThe wait staff are so friendly and helpful; the menu is quite varied and everything we've ever had was outstanding - some of the salads are named after Rochesterians so folks can get a history lesson along with their dinner.
MoreThis place has a great book and toy store called the Element of Fun. Very cool things and great books. It is located near the Children's Institute. Cool Yarn place here too. I disagree with previous reviews. It is a really cool place.
MoreThere are a few stores of mild interest and a couple of restaurants, but this is a dingy place with few attractions. The best things for me were the indoor and outdoor sculptures.
MoreThere is nothing to do here. Only business offices and some closed down restaurants. There was some cool art work on the second floor, but other than that only disappointment
MoreThere are a good number of restaurants which will caater to many tastes. Artwork on the second floor is great for browsing. Oerall, it's a neat place and a great way to do something different.
