I have inline skates 4 wheels each. You feel how rough the asphalt is. I went to trirail Yamato Rd and what a surprise!!! Left my car and the parking lot pavement was already terrible.... I went across the rails to the El Rio trail and saw that rough, dirty, full of sand and rocks trail. I saw a girl in a bicycle and ask if the trail pavement would ever improve or it's always like this and she said yes, just like this.... Obviously in a bicycle you don't feel the pavement, but in skates, you move slowly, imbalanced and you can feel in your feet how the trail is destroying your skates. I had to leave very disappointed .

Very nice..., felt safe..,well-maintained..wish it were longer.... a bit confused as to how long it really is. ?.. started at the Boca tri - rail and walked north to the end.. then walked back to the south end.. then back the the tri - rail station.. It may have been 10 miles total..

Scenery is just ok but it is great to have a good long trail without traffic going right by you so it feels safe to bike along.

Took a walk/run while on vacation. Very pretty and felt safe. Saw tons of wildlife. Wish they had mile markers. Enjoy it.

Best place to park your car if you are going for the first time is Boca Raton trirail station. Park closest spot to the station and cross the tracks on a overbridge. You will immediately see a brown bridge connecting the path to the station. You will also see a trail map there. Attached picture. Walk towards FAU from there and within few minutes you will see a large, beautiful sand (think camping) area along the trail. Sand is so smooth and lovely. It doesn't have any playarea equipment but I think its still a great place for kids to run around playing tag or build something out of sand. Trail itself is cool with lots of underpass tunnels. Thank me if it helps. I couldn't find any clear instructions on where to park. I was not sure where in FAU i should park.
