The McGee Beach is a popular local beach and is located in downtown Corpus Christi. The beach is well-maintained and clean with powdery white sand that's perfect for long walks along the shore or to just sunbathe and relax. MoreThis beach was average. There was a little too much trash floating around and in the sand for my liking. I'm surprised the city doesn't keep it cleaner. The sand was softer than North Beach, but there were a few shady characters hanging out at the picnic tables.
MoreBeautiful beach front, well kept and blue/ green water. Hopefully, in the future hotel owners nearby, will treat the used water before dumping it into the ocean. I enjoyed a delicious shaved ice from a truck while walking on the beach. It has a wooden walkway with picnic tables under a covered area.

MoreWe went to this beach on a Monday afternoon and it was not very crowded. There was free parking which was really nice. This was a lovely beach and I would return here.
