Went in the winter. So there’s only fishing. Nice surroundings and a small dam close by.Water was not clear and there have been sightings of water snakes. Visiting is not allowed late nights.

I just love going to this place to relax after a busy day. The view is gorgeous. There are plenty of spaces for recreation. Ideal place for fishing and kayaking. Must recommended place for walks, sunset and stargazing.

Go-to place for the NC state students for having a little fun, to blow off steam when studies get too hectic. A great place for a walk and to watch the sunset with. Fishing allowed. Adjacent centennial trail is a pretty little treat.

On a clear day, this is good place in downtown Raleigh to see a sunset and a ideal place for fishing. This place is less known compared to the older parts of the NC State Campus, which makes it a great get a way.
