Awesome 3 story arcade bar with a full bar and all kinds of games, classics, foosball, skeeball, you name it!!...

This is one of the best bars to visit Downtown Gainesville! The multi level bar offers a wide variety of arcade entertainment as well as music. Attached to the three floor arcade bar is an alley way that has DJs, providing a great atmosphere as you take a break from the games, dance party happening on the third floor or just a passage way to the connecting bar, The Atlantic, which is constantly thriving with live music. This place is one of a kind, and so are the unique diverse group of people you will meet. If you like retro arcade games, good drinks, dancing, and music. I highly recommend visiting Arcade Bar!...At least for one round of skee-ball.

Those of you who try to eat dinner in downtown Gainesville know how long you sometimes have to wait. We often pick up our pager and head to the Arcade to spend the wait time playing pin ball. We actually have never gotten drinks there, but the pinball is fun. The place is filthy and looks like it is going to fall apart, but the games are fun.

I was dragged into this establishment by a group of friends on a Saturday night. The bar is multi story with lots of old amusement games. Needless to say the place was packed and it appeared that everyone was having fun. As I am not really into playing the old pinball, skeet you name it kind of game it wasn’t my kind of thing. The games did appear to be in excellent condition and I did notice a change machine for getting the coins or tokens you needed to operate the machine. The place was colorful with lights and music along with the sound of the machines. Drink prices were reasonable. Unique concept and if your looking for a place to spend some time playing the oldies this is your spot.

My boyfriend and I love coming here. There are awesome drink specials and a three floors of awesome old school video games. We especially love the Simpsons Game, Creature of the Black Lagoon pinball machine, and old super mario bros. Super chill vibe.
