The reindeer looked miserable and depressed. It was heart breaking to see this animal forced to live in solitary confinement. I cried when I saw it. It was so painful to see.

An animal that should be free looks miserable behind many fences. How greedy and disgusting of these people. It's not legal, and they got a special permit. Yuk!

You can walk up and see the local Anchorage mascot Star at any time. There is a window for viewing at the front of the house.

Interesting to see a reindeer up close. We saw it only in the fenced in area; good quality pictures were not possible.If you’re in the area, stop by, especially with kids. An extra stop just for viewing the reindeer is not worth it.
