Took about 1 1/2 hr. Mostly flat Interesting ride through residential streets in leisure world to the north gate. Then along the north part of leisure World wall with a freeway exit on the right some trees but not very fun. Going south a lot of industrial wasteland but then all of a sudden along the river it becomes very beautiful halfway into the ride. Best part was ending up at seal Beach for lunch. All in all I’d say it covers a lot of interesting territory and it’s a very easy ride it doesn’t take very long to end up in a cute destination. Seeing los Alamitos bay w/ Long Beach in the distance and then driving along the beach to the pier is great .We will do again

I live in Seal Beach College Park East for more than 30 years. I ride bike on this trail couple times a month. The longest one was from pier to Free way 105. There are many nice parks along the path so that restroom is not a problem. You can also bike into the park to see ducks in the lake. Or watch people fly model airplanes. There is a very nice walking trail in El Dorado park with a very beautiful creek.

The river bike trail is always a nice area to ride along the riverbed to the rivers end at the beach. It also goes to the mountains but I have never done that trek.Coming soon at the river end will be a new restaurant which is being remodeled. So keep your eyes open.. I do not recommend riding at night due to the homeless or walking it as it is mainly bicycles and many ride very fast. Enjoy your bike ride!
