Intimate, unique event venue in an old firehouse. We attended a music event featuring 3 bands. The music was great but the entire venue with the different areas and outside fire pits sealed our love for this venue. Parking is on the street & behind the old firehouse. Enjoy!

We were going out for an evening of music at a venue we had not experienced before. The converted firehouse, cabaret , theater was the right fit. On the eve of St. Patrick's Day we were going to hear the Belfast Cowboys, a local group of extremely talented musicians covering Van Morrison music. There is seating for the early comers and plenty of room for watching and listening. They sell wine and beer at very affordable prices with a great assortment of quality products, and several varieties of Big House boxed wines. The sound does not echo and is crisp and clean. The cover charge is affordable, but check and buy discounted tickets on line. Wednesdays are free music nights. The Belfast Cowboys have been together for seventeen years and have the chemistry seldom seen, a strong recommendation!

First timer. Went to hear Crankshaft one last time. Conflicting information on web site and Facebook. Had to stand in a line for an hour with others who red the same info we did. Woman who gave wristbands was rude... barked orders to all of us... no smile, or friendliness at all. some chairs, but not many. This is a standing place to hear live music... so if you have a bad back, or foot issues, this place is most likely not where you want to go... because you will end up standing for 3 hours in a crowd with no place to put your beverage. Canned beer only... but it was nice and cold. Good music... but the all night standing with no place to put your drink... makes this just another average place to hear live music.... good live music. It is a toss up for us....

This historic building lends itself to a fun time no matter what group is performing. I attended the first-ever Mn Spin event sponsored by Hennepin County Library with 3 friends. Four groups provided a varied mix of music and we had lots of fun. The Bent Paddle craft beer was great!

Attended a concert with three bands involved. There is a first room which has a small stage, usually only one or two people on that. There is a bar in that room which has beer and soft drinks. The larger room has a large stage and both bands had at least 6-7 people with instruments. The room can be configured with seats on two sides, leaving room for dancing in the middle or seats across the room. The seating arrangement depends on the type of music. It is a large venue.Very nice environment in which you can hear the music. You can order tickets or pay at the door. Depends on the group or groups. An enjoyable place for music.Parking is on the street of parking lots a couple blocks away.
