My husband and I went to the lake to run/walk. The trails are well kept and beautiful. It also connects over to Lake Needwood. Both areas have their own parking.

Noting that this attraction was not listed in Tripadvisor, I requested that it be added for reviewers to post their reviews and visitors to know about it. Thanks TA for adding it! Located near Lake Needwood and Rock Creek Regional Park, this huge Park offers hiking and walking trails, boating, fishing, etc. One can choose between walking along the trails that are closer to the Lake or the paved ones on the other side of the lake. Unlike Lake Needwood, the facilities here are FAR from the Parking Lot. Take note of this, particularly if you're in a hurry to go to the restrooms! Tips: Hike or walk from here to the Meadowside Nature Center if you're so inclined. Without comfortable shoes during my visit, I decided not to do this. Instead I drove from this Park to the Center ( about 10 minutes).
