For those who wish to watch the adventures of the sea closely, head to the Surfers Point at Seaside Park. Thrill seekers and experienced surfers can be seen frolicking on the waves. The beach waters are also famous for dolphin watching, so one can also simply take a stroll and catch a glimpse of dolphins.

tripadvisorSurfers Point Park is that perfect Ventura blend of laid‑back and lively. There's energy without chaos, nature with amenities, and community presence with plenty of room to find your own spot. Whether you’re riding waves, enjoying a scenic walk, or simply reflecting by the sea, it's a place that feels both alive and serene. I left with sandy shoes, salty hair, and a genuine sense of calm
MoreOne of the best places I could find that interpeace with myself that I couldn't find elsewhere. Absolute perfect place to watch the Sunset on any day.
MoreWent to Ventura to surf three times with my two sons. The parking lot by the apartments is absolutely filthy and the numerous homeless people have been using the parking lot itself as a toilet. It was warm two of the days we went and the heated concrete was reeking really, really bad. The town is generally dirty and kinda tired looking. A lot of trash unfortunately. I kept my sons minds on other things so I didn't hace to make excuses about the messes everywhere. The folks seem nice but have this underlying egde to them as if the might loose it at a moments notice. Just be advised, Oxnard beach neighborhoods and beach are completely nicer by far and the people there are easy going it seems. Sorry to go on but I felt it important to voice a few sentances.
MoreSurfer's Point Park is really a parking lot that fronts the walkway promenade along the beach. If you surf, go in the morning before it blows out. Ventura catches south swells poorly but the winter's NW swells come in fine. Families can rent pedal vehicles. The walkway goes a long way along the coast.
