White Plains Armory Building

Built between 1909-1910, the White Plains Armory is a historic building. This impressive structure has housed several units, including the 49th Separate Company, 10th Infantry Regiment, 106th Infantry Regiment and Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, Company D, 212th Field Artillery. James E. Ware designed the massive 31,612 square foot (3512 square yards) structure to be a virtually impenetrable structure. It is now Armory Plaza, a senior housing center.
