Cool older theater upstairs, some interesting ghost history there. It was a neat place to poke around and learn a little about eaton rapids

The building is in nice shape and the historical marker notes the role of the Red Ribbon Society in the local temperance movement. You'll see a bit more of it when the leaves are off the trees as the tree in front blocks some of the view.

Red Ribbon Hall was built in 1878 as a temperance hall. It was affiliated with the Red Ribbon movement again drinking alcohol. The building then served as a cultural center, an opera house and for the last 91 years as a Masonic Hall. A beautiful building with a State of Michigan historical marker. Stop, read the sign and see the building which has stood for 137 years.
