The Katy Trail follows the former train tracks of old freighters that would rumble across the OKC region during the last century. Today, most of the 7.3 mile trail is unpaved and this might be why it is one of the most sought-after spots in the entire city for its tranquility and remoteness (even though you are still in the city).
