Centennial Trail Park

The Centennial Trail State Park is a serpentine paved trail that is dotted with numerous historical sites. Beginning at the Nine Mile Falls, the scenic trail meanders along the Spokane River upto the Idaho border. Christened after the momentous occasion of Washington’s 100th birthday, the serene park welcomes hikers, cyclists and skaters to take in the idyllic environs. Those in the mood to go horse riding can head to the Riverside region of the park. To make the trail convenient for explorative visitors, it comprises several trailheads and access points. Its winding trail makes the park a go-to spot to host marathons too.

I wish we had this nice of a trail system in every state!! It runs from the Spokane to Coeur d' Alene. I believe someone mentioned it was 44 miles long, but that could be wrong.
