This is the most mismanaged facility around. I have been a member for over ten years. Every Thing was fine until january of twenty twenty four. For no reason whatsoever they changed the rules in the men only health center. Since it is men only it was always clothing optional in the hot tub, steam room or sauna. For comfort and convenience most people opted for no clothing, just use the towels provided. In compliance with the new rule, I wore a bathing suit and they have a suit wringer on the wall which takes most of the water out of the suit I would put the suit on a hanger and hang it on their clothing rack to dry overnight. Within the 1st month my suit had been removed twice and then the third time, I just gave up and went back to using towels to cover as normal. Unfortunately, after being told 3 times and the third time that my bathing suit had disappeared, they decided to revoke my membership.. On top of my being made an example of for no good reason. They still will not reinstate my membership.Although nudity goes on and on. If somebody complained and has a problem with same sex nudity then they are the ones who should not be there. As for the management, they refuse to negotiate anything whatsoever and will not reinstate my membership.My health has deteriorated tremendously. If they do not care about individual people , all they want is new memberships coming in.

I have not personally experienced the massage from the Central Branch YMCA but I'm sure it is unforgettable. Plenty of parking.
