I love complainign about Outside Lands! It's really overpriced and not very good. This year I saw PAUL SIMON and that was unique for me. I paid $140 or so. I get a Proposition Chicken sandwich year after year perhaps. I have seen Radiohead, Lorde, and some others. It's a basic music festival that doesn't have good styling anymore and the acts just are getting less relevant. Hardly Strictly just zaps the zone of this overpriced festival at Golden Gate Park SF. It's down the street. It's cool to hang out and walk around and do the Heineken tent. ETC.

We attended on the Sunday having done all 3 days a few years ago. It is difficult to go through the wide range of drink and food on offer, including cocktails and extensive food outlets. There are 4 stages and other performance areas. The weather was great all day and I saw some good music, Paul Simon closed the show, wow. Golden Gate Park was a super venue.

the festival itself was nice, but it was overpriced, especially food and drinks, way too many people, you couldn't move. restrooms very dirty after some hours and long waiting lines everywhere. young people were rude and pushed. are these the spoiled ego-teens? many people throw there trash away just were they stand...

Outside Lands keeps getting better every year in regards to food, things to do, drinks, bathrooms, and overall logistics and coordination. The bands are always fun to see. The sound keeps getting better every year. The only thing I don’t like so much is that the VIP sections keep getting bigger and are taking over more of the general sections in front of the stages.
