Bolton Priory
Landmark
A historic home built in the year 1838 in the Town of Pelham in New York, it stands upon a wooded tract of land facing the Pelham Bay. It is built in the Romantic Movement style of architecture. It has stone in one section and brick in another. The house gives the reflection of lifestyles and tastes of an influential family in 19th Century rural Pelham and is a good example of the Romantic Theories of architecture of that time coming from England.
