Popular for the view but not the lack of public parking or the traffic after fireworks viewing! It’s an elevated hill inside a residential area, not an actual publicly-managed “sight” so if you know someone who lives in the area, park at their place and walk uphill for a great view of the city, especially at night. If you’re thinking of enjoying the Fourth’s riverfront fireworks display from this vantage point, bring a beach towel (not a huge blanket, that’s just greedy!) to claim a viewing spot on the ground. It will be a HOT hike mostly uphill and the top will be crazy-crowded but what a group experience! The collective oohs and ahhs make the trouble worth it. Bring a cold beverage, a face towel, and a hand fan and enjoy the sight, sounds, and occasional sulfurous smell of the great American celebration!

Very small little park. It's a green area on top of a hill. The reason to come is the nice view of midtown and downtown. That's all. No real trails no parking, except along the narrow street. Lots of towers and small structures surrounded by razor wire. Visit here for a nice view. That's all. It's not a good place for anyone with a mobility challenge as it's a steep approach via the hill or steep stairs. You can bring a dog but no fence it's not a dog park. No real area to picnic but you could throw down a blanket. It's a small green spot on top of a hill. Afterwards you can visit the parks down the hill or Hillsboro village.

The warning that there's no parking is founded. We parked in someone's driveway for the 5 minutes we summitted the hill. There needs to be a raised platform to get the 360 degree view of the city from it's highest point. We saw what we could, and scurries back down to our ride.

This is a local spot to get great views of Nashville, grab a picnic lunch and make a time of it. Today we saw someone propose. It was great.

The view wasn’t quite as nice as I expected even in February when the trees were bare. There is also a severe lack of parking.
