This shoreline is close to the rental car center. After picking up my car, I went to this place and waited for sunset. The view was great

We returned to Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline on a delightful May day. There are nice views of Oakland and of the water. It is a pleasant park.

We returned to Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shorelne. Its a very scenic park and water area. There is parking on the western side of the park. Looking east, one can see nice views of the Oakland skylne, including the nearby colisuem and ballpark. There is areas to play and have picnics. There is also a boat launching area.

An Ok park along the Bay, nice to have the green space. But don't go out of your way as it is not all that special.

We come here often. It’s a great place to walk and always loaded with birds. A spotting scope is helpful to really see all the birds in the distance on the water. But there are plenty of birds up close. Look for burrowing owls on the mounds as you drive in. You may hear or see ridgeways rails out in the master as well.
