This monument is owned by the Daughters of the Confederacy and has been moved from its location on Hamilton St (Main Street) to the Huff House. It’s still able to be viewed by the public.

Actually it's a 5/5 for sure, except for 1 issue. This statue was removed, this morning because people and blm came from out of town and were OFFENDED by it. GOD BLESS THE USA :,(

Important civil war figure who headquartered 2 blocks away. Adjacent to civil war sights and Dalton’s art and mountain vacation connections. Highly recommended to history and out door lovers. Also a great area for train enthusiasts.

In fairness I pass this statue about 10 times per week. I have walked up to it etc when at restaurants nearby. It is worth about 5 minutes in my opinion
