Family, friends, pets are welcomed here.There is free parking on the roundabout and it is a beautiful stroll to the park where you can enter the water and the water is still enough to swim in .If one wants to go tubing. They have to rent a tube from one of the local venues.

We had a blast!! Parking is $20 for the day( 1 vehicle). We brought our own tubes but there were several tube rental places around in case you need to rent some. We floated for 2 hours and the chute at the entrance was really fun. Life guards are near by just in case. You can only bring yeti like containers in so watch out.

I passed through Hinman Island park while visiting New Braunfels. It is a beautiful park along the banks of the Comal river. I enjoyed the sights and the crystal clear water of the Comal. It is a very nice place to relax!

This is an excellent place to get an open water swim. The Comal River is clean and it is very safe for beginners.
