The Uptown Park makes up a narrow strip of land, between the Uptown Street and Greenlaw Avenue. Though the park may not be much in acreage, it still measures up to be quite a prominent place for the neighborhood’s residents. Primarily used for local community events, the Uptown Park is where events like the annual National Night Out Celebration take place, acting as a gathering point for the locals. Do pay a visit to this park if you are in Uptown, if not for an event, then just, perhaps, for a casual evening stroll.
