tripadvisorThis property is just west of the McAdoo's restaurant--a must do eatery if you are in the city for a few hours. It is an easy walk from the restaurant and it is well worth it, It is a great example of local German architecture.
MoreThis church offers many services on the weekends. We went to the 11:15 and it was oretty full. The priest gave an excellent homily. He was full of joy!
MoreThis church was packed for Saturday afternoon mass, so we had to find parking 2-3 blocks away. The parish priest is well-spoken and charismatic. His sermon was inspiring. Several children were receiving their first communion when we visited, so mass was a bit longer. The priests were quite proactive in greeting parishioners and visitors after mass.
MoreThis church was built in 1871 and seems to be in good shape. The stained glass windows are large and beautiful. It is still being used today and also has a school.
MoreWent to 11:15 Sunday Mass during a visit to town; had a great experience. Large church, good music, well-attended, thoughtful sermon, parish bulletin detailing many activities. Lots of young people and good fellowship with coffee and donuts after Mass.
