McFarland Nature Park, was saved from development by the efforts off the Chattahoochee Plantation Homeowners Association, and with the help of the Cobb County Land Trust. The history is a good one, and can be viewed on the Cobblandtrust.org website. Best time to visit is Spring and Fall, native flora abounds, you will have to look around to find the park, the website will give you some directions.

Interesting small nature gardens. Pleasant walkways with labelled plants. Interesting to see what plants are native to Georgia

This park is tucked away and hard to find off Papermill Rd, but its a great place to play frisbee, capture the flag, football etc. We often go with a group of teenagers/young adults for a game and its nice to have a park that isn't crowded. The only downside is there are no public restrooms available.

There is an old farmhouse, picnic tables and numerous hiking trails. You are in the woods in the middle of exquisite homes and the Atlanta Country Club's golf course.

Small but plenty to do and see. Take a picnic, grill out, play with your dog or walk the trail. I could tell that it will be very pretty in the Spring and Summer. There are bathrooms and benches and a sort of amphitheater in front of a field. You could spend as little as an hour or half the day, depending on what you want to do! Birdhouses and animal habitats, in all a very nice and well rounded park!
