Good little stop. You don’t really need to spend a lot of time here. But it’s a beautiful bridge with an interesting backstory. Definitely a good thing to do if you have about 30 or so minutes to kill.

We stopped in Asheville on the way to Hot Spring. We walked from our hotel to the bridge. It was a bit of a hike but worth it. The bridge is kind of creepy but really cool. You are able to walk up a side road and walk across the bridge. The views are really cool.

We decided to walk to Helen's Bridge from downtown. Definitely was a bit of trek, but was worth it. We also went at sunset which was a great decision. Super cool looking bridge and surrounding area. We would recommend driving though... Also, make sure you walk up to the top of it.

....I think she wanted us to know she was there. I don't believe in whatever happens with this kind of tells, but .......As I'm walking up to the bridge, something/someone made leaves/dirt or whatever move. A few people in front also had something move has they got under the bridge. That's not all, my husband who's NOT into even going to these kinds of places gets out of the car and halfway up the bridge, his phone starts playing Pandora. We were NOT playing Pandora in the car and the app was NOT open. WTH????

So fun to read the local history of the bridge and then view it. Nice little walk. Impressive structure for the time period it was built.
