Checked out the trail at this park today. We parked at the entrance off Holzer Park Road. Very shady; took the Tall Timbers Trail ( unpaved) but it kind of just ended at a field; couldn't find the markers for the rest of the trail; this part not maintained very well -- looked mowed maybe once so far , but the earlier part of the trail off the Meramec Greenway was interesting and swampy looking off the side of the trail... nice view of the river. You can walk far as you want on the paved trail and then turn and go back to the parking lot... it is not a loop. ( I do like the loop trails best!) If you walk like 2 miles I think you end up in Suson Park.... There is one bench and one porta potty on the parking lot! Not very crowded on this weekday.

I'm assuming this is the location referenced in my title. If so, we love this well-paved two mile trail. Out and back makes it roughly four miles. Great for a walk, run or bike ride. There is one, lone port-a-potty at the west end. Parking is a bit tight at the east end sometimes. Great trail, though. :-)
