Nice boardwalk to bird watch. We saw an alligator as well. There were plaques describing the wildlife in the area. Very easy walk.

Really glad we took the route around Tyrell Park and stumbled onto this place! It’s actually part of the Big Thicket National Preserve. Very exciting to see a variety of birds, especially two purple gallinules. The piers are well maintained and the area is quite peaceful.

This is a really nice place for walking. There were a lot of birds both around the boardwalk and the rest of the trails. There are several miles of trails so you can customise how far you want to go. The boardwalk is accessible, but the rest of the trails are more crushed rock. There are also alligators in the park which are cool to see but you do need to pay attention to your surroundings.

Lots of nature trails. We parked at the walkway/boardwalk. It was well maintained and handicap accessible. Even though it was 2 degrees, we still saw tons of various water birds and none of them were afraid of us, so it'd be a nice place for anyone wanting to photograph swamps/wetlands and see nature.

Such a cool area! Huge wetlands area with loads of trails, full of all sorts of water birds big and small. Didn't have a chance to explore too much due to timing, but will definitely be back!
