tripadvisorIt's not a gift shop as much as it's a cultural experience. They sell handcrafted and culturally interesting items. We ended up with a Æbleskiver pan and my daughter can't wait to try it out. My youngest has his little Two Harbors lighthouse on his nightstand and has been bragging about his agates. It was so much more special than visiting a branded gift shop. It was a whole experience, not just a purchase. Thank you!
MoreWe stopped in on our way back to the Cities from a weekend in Schroeder, and what a find! Not only is the jewelry Brad creates gorgeous, but everything in the shop has a story, and Brad clearly loves what he does, and loves to educate people who stop in on the history behind his designs! We spent over an hour with them, and with every new topic, Brad would disappear for a moment, and come back with literature and new designs that he is working on - all absolutely beautiful! Some of his stories were touching and some were humorous, but all were genuine and related back to his design styles. His mother is a lovely woman who clearly loves her son and his work - and happily works alongside him, running the shop. The fact that EVERYTHING he sells, is handmade, by HIM is astounding. And most of the stones he uses are from local beaches along the North Shore. Stop shopping online for crap made in China and Taiwan - and stop by and spend your hard earned money with Brad! The time and love he puts into his work is priceless...and so much higher quality than you will find anywhere else. Shop local, shop small business!
MoreThis Son and Mother partnership treats the visitor with Unique Scandinavian and North Shore inspired jewelry and gifts. Handcrafted inside and out this shop is a master peace for sure. If you see something you like buy it on the spot, it will likely be gone on your next visit. Brad’s jewelry is made by his hands onsite from the heart!
MoreWe love to stop here for a visit- great guy, best stories ever- the grounds are worth the trip but we always send people here when on a north shore drive.
MoreThis shop has some unique silver jewelry and beautifully crafted Scandinavian items. It is a required visit for us when we're on a North Shore tour.
