I didn't particularly care much for this hike.It is hot. There is no shade. It is not great scenery or fauna. Desert like. Not my best hike ever, but it is close to my house, and not particularly crowded, so I will probably give it another chance at some point

A great stop for pictures at any given time. Just remember that it may get chilly and by experience, icy cold.It is a romantic place if you wish to bring your partner and it is also a great place for a family picnic or just to hang around with friends. We spent some days in the area at one morning, right in the middle of July, was very cold so be advised that the weather may change at any time. I would recommend sunblock and a heavy blanket and jacket.Don't forget the camera to freeze those special moments in time.

Beware this is a very dangerous place in the canyon and is closed. If you get in you will most likely be fined about $500. You will have to trespass over private property. There is no parking, no restrooms; there is however, rattle snakes ,coyotes, a bear or two and several mountain lions. The fall are slippery . Every year one or two people have to be rescued by the fire dept and then fined by the sheriff .

Be well aware that this trip can cost you as part of it is apparently over private property. There are so many better trails in the Mt. Baldy area that offer water falls, vistas, and are not used as hangouts

In the area for business and had a couple hours and a car. Drove up the canyon to Mt. Baldy. Interesting drive with great views. On way back drove along Glendora Ridge Road to George Manooshian Park. Challenging, but well worth it for the views including LA and Pacific Ocean on a good day.
