Tomoka is a must stop whether just going for a drive or walking around the waters edge. Fishing, kayaking, picnic lunch or hiking just depends on the weather.

The statue is in the state park, easy to find the park is small. But the statue is larger than I though it was going to be. There is a couple of trails to walk and its right on the water. Great place to bird watch, we also saw a couple fishing.

Kids enjoyed seeing the large statue and walking along the water. Park entry just $5 and they also have camping and canoe rental.

This is definitely a must see. It is a huge statue that pays tribute to the Native Americans that were in the area. It sits in a Beautiful State Park that has walking trail along the intercostal waterway.

This location is INSIDE TAMOKA STATE PARK, there is a fee to enter. There are some beautiful relaxing spots along the river (watch for alligators, they do exist) There is also a couple decent wlaking trails. It's a penisula so no major trails, but a nice place to visit. If you go to the little camp/tour store, you can rent kayaks and go out on the water.
