Reviews
tripadvisorI have stayed at this motel 3 times since December of 2020. My review can only be written in two parts, complimentary and critical.Complimentary: As I have written in previous reviews, this is a very nice motel. Very clean, well maintained, and great location to freeways.Critical:I had total knee replacement surgery on September 24th. On August 28th, I went to this motel to make a reservation for September 24th and 25th. I had to have someone stay with me for the first 2 days post surgery. When making the reservation I was very clear that I needed a handicap access room. I asked if I could see one of those rooms and was told that I could not, due to Covid. I was not going to touch anything, I just wanted to make sure it was what I needed. I explained that the room had to be for me and someone to help me. There was only a queen sized bed in the room, but I was assured that there was a sofa in the room where my helper could sleep.Upon check-in on the 24th, we went to the room, and there was NO sofa. Just a bed, table and chairs, and one other chair too small for anyone to sleep in comfortably. Also upon check in, I was told that the normal buffet style breakfast was different in that they were using up everything until they ran out and that they were going to be going back to sack breakfasts that had to be heated in the room microwave. My friend went to get breakfast Saturday morning, and the only thing available was some scrambled eggs, juice, coffee and toast. Nothing else, so he went to McDonalds to get us a decent breakfast. The soda machine was out of order, with a sign that read soda machine out of order, bottled water is being sold in the lobby. Now, on top of all of that, I paid $190.27 for Friday night and $214.54 for Saturday night. Total: with taxes $437.98. Absolutely ridiculous rates for the type of room and service we received. I paid less than that for an ocean view room on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.I will be staying at this motel in the future, only because it is the only decent motel in an area where I conduct business.I just hope this review does not fall on deaf ears.....
MoreThe room smelled!! At first we thought it was just stale so we opened windows and turned on the A/C but it had to have been in the carpet. Walking the halls - same smell - like spilled beer and food. Didn’t leave you with the feeling that anything was clean.
MoreMe and my Friends had a great time here, everybody was so pleasant and helpful! At Breakfast we had delicious waffles and eggs, clean rooms and very comfy. Keep in mind that all the places nearby close early.
MoreFirst off I have to say I’m a complete hotel snob so normally I would never stay at a comfort inn but I was going to a concert and it was the closest hotel to the concert I was pleasantly surprised the beds are dreamy the service of the staff incredible very clean Parking lot is well lit and very safe and they served breakfast in the morning had a great variety something for everybody I definitely will stay at this hotel again
MoreI have to go to Fontana a couple of times a year for my business. I've been staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, which is more expensive. I found this place and now I'm a convert. It was clean, had everything I needed, including a full hot breakfast! I love that their swimming pool and spa are indoors and can be seen from the lobby--feels safe from creepers! It was clean and perfect for one night stay overs. I love that Starbucks, Pizza Hut and the Roadhouse are in the same parking lot--makes it easy to get food. I will be returning here every single time. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is their stupid policy to charge you $35 if you want to check in before 3pm. If the room is ready, why not garner goodwill Comfort Inn?
