The ship was lovely. Make sure to upgrade to a window table for a better view. We were disappointed that we didn’t see the sunset due to buildings that obstructed the view. Service was slow and it took 20 minutes to get a drink. The food was average. Tough steak and fishy salmon. Very noisy due to weddings and other large parties. I would save my money and take a smaller boat ride in the area and eat at a nice restaurant. This is an expensive outing and just not worth it!
MoreOur family recently celebrated my mother's 91st birthday with a dinner cruise sailing from South Pasadena on StarLite Cruises, and it was an absolutely spectacular experience!I have been on many dinner cruises in the past, but this one is far superior to any I have ever experienced. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the high quality of the evening.What truly sets this cruise apart, though, is the service. From the moment we stepped on board, the staff treated us like family. They went out of their way to make my mother feel special on her big day. To top it all off, the DJ was top-notch—he kept the energy perfect with a great song list and was more than happy to take our special requests.I was an “out-of-town” guest for this celebration, and from that perspective, I cannot recommend StarLite Cruises enough.
MoreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE in Tampa FL. It was only about 10 of us on board this past Friday. The buffet food was barely warm and its a small selection of microwave type entrees. There is no real DJ just streaming music played at a very low level. You get served Budweiser and cheap wine and rum. I was so bored that I slept more than half the trip. The customer service by the attendants and captain is horrible. You better off going to a nice lounge than wasting your money here!
