tripadvisorWe came here on a Saturday to watch the candy cane demonstration. We were not able to get a slot for the class but when we got there, we could watch from the side anyway. After the demonstration, we stood in line to be helped. We bought an assortment of candy pillows and ribbons. There are so many flavors to choose from and they are really tasty. For $5, you can bend your own warm candy cane which was made during the class. We did not do this but we saw lots of kids doing it. This store is pretty far from where we were staying in Long Beach (took almost an hour) but worth a visit, especially around Christmas time. The world's largest candy cane hangs in the store.
MoreWe went for the candy making experience at Logan's. It was so fun and interesting. We learned some history and watched as candy canes were made, then we got samples of the fresh made candy canes. So yummy! They have many kinds of hand-made candies in the store. This place is a hidden-treasure, for sure.
MoreLogan's Candies is an iconic sweet shop and visiting it for the most perfect treats is a family tradition.
MoreDecember is a perfect time for the handmade demo for candy canes. A full demo from the beginning to the end on making candy canes.
MoreMy first time here was with a tour. We were given a $5.00 voucher. Nice. BUT very disorganized to purchase items. But my purchase included 4 chocolates. They were the best I have had. I went back and hand picked 3 1/2 lb boxes. Because I was the only one there I could ‘visit’ and get my chocolates. They also do special orders. But beware of the holidays And tours as they will be busy and unorganized. But the chocolates are worth it. The owner Jerry makes all the candy. Parking on the street.
