tripadvisorMid-afternoon draft beers at an authentic Pub, and a taste of “bangers” to accent the Guinness on draft. Thinking this place is jammed later in the day as there is live music… And a regular bar crowd to boot.
MoreTake notice and pay attention to solo diners not just two and groups of four or more. I arrived alone. Waited in a line outside. Got a wrist band. Gave my phone number. The security guard said theyd call me. After two hours i was never contacted. Was told i couldnt eat at the bar since i was alone. So i stood in the overflow area where certain patrons were served food. I asked a waiter if i could also eat here but was told no for some odd reason. I was able to get a Guiness in a plastic cup for $10 though. I should feel so lucky. Luck O’ the Irish dont yah know. Bottom line the service, ambiance and incompitant security and staff were Blarney Stone (BS).
MoreOnly in town for 2 nights and wenr there for a drink and live music. Ended up having dinner and also went back the 2nd night it was so good. Staff also excellent. Don't miss it if you're in Escondido
MoreFamily took us to this pub. It had a fine selection of craft and standard beer fare. Nice ambiance with a diverse crowd of people. We went on a Friday night and Clay Colton Trio came into play. Great rendition of popular alternative & rock songs, along with some Irish ditties. We'd already eaten so can't comment on the food but looking at the menu they had a wide variety of Irish and pub offerings. Was a pleasant evening.
MoreMy husband enjoyed the shepard’s pie and I ordered the sampler plate. There was so much food, that we left behind almost half of it. The men enjoyed trying out the varieties of Irish beers.
