An excellent example of an intact adobe structure, Rancho Buena Vista Adobe rests on the remains of an 1845 Spanish Land Grant. Named after a Spanish Marquez, the adobe is in original condition and houses a very fine exhibit of museum-quality artifacts of its time. Many seasonal events and celebrations are held here throughout the year. The Adobe Gallery and La Tiendita gift shop are also located on the property. Call ahead for hours.

tripadvisorYou will get a great overview of Vista history from the ranchero era. Great decoration for Holiday Home Tour in December to benefit Vista Community Clinic. A wonderful venue for weddings!
MoreUnknown true historical destination, guided tours available. Used to be movie star retreat in last century. Now community maintained in period. Like a smaller, quiter Old Town San Diego.
MoreNot far from Vista Main Street, is an authentic adobe that has pass through several hands since 1880's. Outstanding courtyard garden, old kitchen and pantry with many donated object bring this place alive. Must see!
MoreRancho Buena Vista Adobe is well known for having a delightful Christmas presentation. The whole place is decorated with things from long ago when the house was originally built. The Vista schools take the kids on tours during the year so they can see what life was like in days gone by. It doesn't take a long time to go through this adobe, but it is certainly an attraction not to be missed at any time of the year
MoreAttended a wedding here and was surprised on the room available to walk around and use. Grounds were well kept and beautiful. Great location for any event or party.
