Skalawag Productions is an Emmy Award-winning creative production studio based in Chicago, specializing in food, beverage, and consumer brands. Since 2015, we’ve partnered with brands and agencies across the country to develop and produce high-quality video and photography built to work across platforms. Our capabilities span the entire production process, from strategy and creative development through pre-production, production, and post. We bring together an experienced in-house team and a trusted national network of directors, crew, stylists, and creative specialists to build the right team for every project. At our core, we believe great production is about finding the right balance of creativity, quality, and value. We approach projects with the end deliverables in mind, creating efficient productions that can generate everything from hero campaign work and CTV spots to social content, photography, and scalable content libraries. Our specialty is food and beverage. We understand the unique combination of storytelling, styling, technical execution, and attention to detail it takes to make food and products look exceptional on screen, while creating work that ultimately helps brands connect with their audiences.
