I am staying in a local resort with a limited gym. As I was out for a walk I noticed the Kissimmee Muscle Gym, and was glad to see you could buy a day pass. It was about 4pm, so I thought I could get a good workout in and come back for a second time before the pass expired. The gym was big, geared mainly for free weight and free weight machines. No problem, I was able to get a good upper body workout with dumbells. The cardio section was a collection of old treadmills and ellipticals. I found a vintage elliptical and got in a good session. Next, I was looking for a good place to stretch and do some push-ups and sit-ups. There was an inclined bench for sit-ups. The backroom has a musty carpet where I did my stretching and push-ups. Overall, workout was 6 out of 10. The day pass was $30. On the way out I checked with the manager (maybe he was the owner). When I asked if could return the next morning, he said no. That would be a two day pass and that is not available. It rolled out of his mouth like he has said it a million times. I felt it's no use talking to this person (you insert the derogatory name of your preference).Overall, the gym is big. Don't expect a lot of help. There are no areas set up for stretching. The equipment is very old, but for the most part functional. The owner/manager is tactless and the biggest reason I wouldn't recommend this place and I will never return.

Don't go to this gym if you are traveling as it will make you want to move to Kissimmee. This is a large gym that holds the equipment of a gym three times the size. You can tell the person who bought the equipment knows what they are doing. Everything hits! One of the amazing things about this gym is there is not a single weight is not raked in its proper place. The friendly and helpful owners make you want them and their idea for a gym succeed. Not a busy gym and you can get a unique workout that your local gym can not provide.

Found this gym this morning. 1st training session. Done. Very friendly staff. Sorted out my membership very quickly. Loads of weights, benches and equipment. Very spacious clean and well kept. Trained around 4pm, not too busy so I was able to take my time to look around at all the equipment. Some I recognised from home but there was other equipment that was new to me. I’m really looking forward to my next visit tomorrow.

This place is awesome. Think Quads or USA gym in the Chicagoland area. Thanks to John for having a REAL gym in the Disney area instead of a yoga studio or cross fit (which is great if that’s your thing!). Great owner and management. You can kinda sorta play with weights at a hotel gym in the area if your in for business… or if fitness is a serious part of your life, you can not miss a beat, get after it, and hit a real gym with great energy and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth the week pass. -Jett
