This is such a delightful museum and thoughtfully presented in a a way that truly brings back memories from a time most of us who grew up her in KC fondly remember well.

Excellent museum, we enjoyed the fashion exhibit and electric house. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

We visited this museum on June 14. There is free parking on the side. Besides the history of this county, the temporary exhibition on 1960s fashion was the highlight of our visit. Don't forget to visit the fully electric house from 1950.

If you're from Johnson County you'll enjoy this museum. Lots of old relics and interesting facts. I enjoyed seeing the electric house and seeing some of the appliances in it. My granddaughter enjoyed the kids play area.

The layout was great. Every section had a little something to occupy the little ones so I could read. I loved how the displays went by time frame. The house with all the display items was a hit! Definitely do the scavenger hunt while you’re there!
