This is a good location and a clean hotel. It’s weird that the suites had no silverware or dishes in the kitchenette. On site breakfast is decent. Patio and pool area are good.

It is unfortunate, but this hotel pretty well sucks. We kept hearing a thumping throughout the night and raised it to the front desk in the morning. It was the elevator making the noise and they can’t have it fixed soon, so a nice loud thumping in our room all day, and all night and all weekend. A/C? Understand it is Colorado, but the fan operates in two modes: loud and louder. At least it drowned out the thumping of the elevator. So annoying to book a room for 4 people, and have to call for towels. Every. Day. Don’t stay here. Not worth the price.

Overall, nice stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton/Boulder. Staff was friendly and helpful even when it was a busy time. Our room was comfortable and clean. We didn't like the pillows - much too fluffy and uncomfortable - our friends noted this too. It would be nice to have other options for pillows. We never had an opportunity to try happy hour buffet but it was nice that it was offered. Location was great for us. Breakfasts were very nice - lots of options (even for GF diet) and tasty too! Parking garage was easy to access and in/out was easy. Pool was nice - would have liked to have enjoyed it more. Best of all, we felt safe - card key access required for elevators etc.

I had requested 2 rooms next to each other if they didn't have connecting rooms. I called the morning of our check in to ensure our rooms were next to or close to each other. To make a long story short, the 2 rooms ended up on the same level, but not that close to each other. In addition, I was disappointed in our room. It was an odd shape... a wall separated the bed and living area, which is usually fine for suites, but in this room it made both areas odd and much smaller than expected (like they forced a suite setting in a small space). The bathroom was nice and large though and I ended up putting one of my pieces of luggage in there. On a positive note, the breakfast was nice in the morning. In the future, I will look at other options to stay though.

Our stay at this Embassy was very positive, our first room had some issues but the front desk moved us quickly and we were very satisfied. The hotel in general is older than I had anticipated based on the online ratings. But the staff overall was above average and Kory P in housekeeping was exceptionally good. I had left a brand new jacket and when I called the hotel they put me in touch with Kory P and she couldn't have been nicer and was so very helpful. She was kind, considerate, professional, and prompt, as she packaged my jacket and returned it to me asap. Kory P went beyond my expectations and I am very appreciative and thankful that she was there to assist me! 5 Stars for Kory P!!! Thank you so much, KORY P!!!
