We have never been disappointed watching a show at the Lifehouse Theater. Last night we saw Fiddler on the Roof and it was outstanding. The actors, their singing, their dancing, the stage production, the music, the lighting, the stage direction was all top notch. This is up there with Broadway and West End performances. We had such an enjoyable night. I highly recommend any production at the Lifehouse Theater. Their selection of classics is outstanding. Thank you for bringing the arts to Redlands!

Nice little theater. Always offers clean family fun, and although plays often highlight or incorporate a “religious” twist, I have to disagree with a previous review of it being “pushy.” What I find to be desired is at least 20% more acting script (drama) and 20% less music, especially when little of the music is memorable. Lots of creative energy goes into the music and lyrics, but little of it has catchy hooks, and at times creates boredom. This is often but not always the case. Overall, it’s a nice night out, and deserves support when so many venues offering this sort of entertainment have vanished.

Great actors But I had to research to find it was a religious play. It wasn't upfront about from someone who drove 40 min to it. extra pushhhhhy play on religion.

We went to the Tom Sawyer play and can honestly say it was an absolutely beautiful production. The most spectacular part was in the second half, there was a woman that had so much soul in her singing, she almost brought the house down and it was hard to refrain from getting up and dancing along with her. We wanted to meet her after the show, but she managed to slip out and we just missed her. If she is reading this review, our hats are off to you, you have an absolutely beautiful voice, and you can come and sing in our church any day!! The smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies could be sensed long before we entered the doors, and as always, couldn't resist buying a couple of them. They were delicious. The seating is stadium style, so you don't have to worry about peeking around the person in front of you to have a good view. Our seats were pretty much in the middle of the theater, and the only down side I can say is that on a few occasions when the actors got enthusiastic and excited speaking their lines, their voices got very loud, and in a couple cases, unintelligible. Other than that we really enjoyed the play.
