tripadvisorI treated my friend to a facial and massage for her birthday. As the cost of 45 minutes in the salt cave in the package was the same as the facial and massage, I booked the package for both of us. I didn't expect much from the salt cave. But instead the pressure in my head that I'd been feeling for the past few weeks disappeared after the 45 minute session! Apparently, the salt dried out my sinuses and I felt so much better. I did not expect any benefit and wow, was I surprised. I highly recommend the salt cave to anyone with sinus issues. It's worth a try.The facial from the Dutch woman was great. The massage was a bit disappointing only because the right shoulder tension was still there after the massage. Apparently, the need to complete the full body massage over-rode dealing with the problem areas completely. I believe this could be dealt with up front, in the future. I'd return the next time I am in St. Augustine. And would likely prioritize the salt cave.
MoreChance at Salt Spa is an amazing massage therapist. He asked questions to get an understanding of what kind of massage I wanted. He is very knowledgable and extremely careful with draping. I felt completely comfortable with him.I highly recommend him.My husband was massaged by Susan and he said she was fabulous. He recommends her as well. The spa itself is beautifully set up. Very clean and peaceful. Another positive is that there is on-site parking. Huge plus for a downtown location.
MoreMy husband and I just visited Salt Spa in St. Augustine, and it was absolutely amazing. We tried the salt cave, flotation tank, and infrared sauna, and every part of the experience was relaxing and peaceful. The space was clean, calming, and well organized, and we left feeling refreshed, calm, and recharged.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and unwind — we will definitely be back!
MoreExcellent massage, great location, very peaceful and relaxing. Could have been a little less pricey. They include the gratuity in the price, but you still feel like you have to tip.
MoreLocated in an unassuming building, this is a cute gem of a place. My massage with Angie was wonderful - I recommend the hot stones. Everyone was nice and friendly. We were intrigued by the salt caves and float therapy but elected the massage instead and were happy.
