There really isn't much to it, but as one who enjoys looking at the artist variants of old tombstones I had to stop by for a visit. There is a small parking lot with a sign that talks about the origins of the cemetery. It seemed to be maintained, so that is a plus.

We were amazed on how much history could be found in such a small cemetery. The cemetery is a must for those interested in history in the area. Perfectly maintained and very close to University of Missouri and also Rock Creek State Park

The site is well maintained, but very small. It is right in the middle of a busy neighborhood and business area. Good activity to do if you just wanna kill a few minutes.

We have been there, many times.....and taken visitors there. It's small but interesting for sure! The state has done a wonderful job on keeping it in good repair!

Jewell Cemetery isn't much more than the four walls and headstones, but it is a nice relaxing place to park in Columbia. It is quieter than it would seem being right next to Providence and a good spot to sit for lunch or thinking.
