tripadvisorCheck-in was easy. Apartment was ready. If our stay had been longer we would have made use of the clothes washer and drier and the dishwasher. Loved the open air rooftop pool, the gym and the community room. There were plenty of hangers for our clothes including skirt/pants hangers (a rarity) and plenty of closet and drawer space. Because we were only there for 3 nights I was not inclined to purchase laundry or dishwasher detergent and I was surprised that none was supplied. There were also no sponges or clothes to wipe off the kitchen counter or any cleaning supplies other than a broom and mop, no filters for the coffee maker, no paper towels or paper napkins, no salt and pepper all of which would have been welcome considering our short stay. Had we stayed for a week or longer it would have been acceptable to purchase those items. I made phone contact with the Support Center and was promised cleaning clothes and a 'welcome kit the next day; however since it was a weekend and we checked out on Monday morning it did not arrive during our stay. I did miss having a full length mirror. The windows could be opened to let in fresh air even though it was too hot to do that during our stay and the AC worked very well. Wifi was immediately accessible; beds were comfortable. There were enough towels, toilet paper and general bathroom amenities.
MoreNothing close to what they advertised online about the property in Boston, The Walter. Building under construction, bedrooms with no curtains. Dirty place. Bedroom mattresses sinking.. bldg hallways dirty, no concierge as advertised. Location with no public parking available neither property parking offered when made reservations. Still waiting for a reply and resolution on complaints. Never Again Will Use This Company. False advertising!
MoreWe arrived after a really long 24 hours of travel. Check-in was seemless, a quick show of photo identification and we were given our apartment key. Our one bedroom apartment was very spacious, the bathroom was huge! The welcome pack with tea, coffee, paper towels etc. was a really thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. All cooking needs are there. We had a minor issue with some crockery and cutlery missing but that was resolved albeit two days later after a reminder. Apartments are air-conditioned with excellent WiFi. Building is nice and cosy with a clean welcoming lobby. We heard no noise from adjacent apartments. We did not use the pool or need parking so can't comment on these. Location was perfect as I had some work at Harvard medical school. Can be a bit far from hospitals depending on how quickly you want to be there. All in all well worth it. Just lacks the personal touch of hospitality staff but that's not such a big problem.
MoreThe apartment was great very clean had all new apliances it is well maintained. The only reason Im not giving it a better review is because it says on Expidia that there is free parking, but there is no free parking you have to pay $25.00 daily for garage parking. You can park free on the street but it is very limited.
MoreThey won’t let you check in on your designated time, all they would say is that your room is not yet ready and give you their “customer service” number to call. The customer service would act like they are working on something to resolve the problem and say they will call you back once the issue has been resolved. Guess what! They won’t call you back. So, you will try to call them but now this would be an hour or two later. Keep in mind 4pm is your time to check in so now it will be 5-6 pm but they dont have customer service after working hours, so you don’t have anyone to contact. To make matters worse you have just arrived from a flight abroad and is extremely jet lag. So at this point you ask yourself why you never listened to the all those comments online about how poor their customer service is and imediately regret it. Do yourself a favor, scroll down and find a different place.
