This property feels much more like a hostel style experience than a traditional hotel, and I wish that were more clearly communicated when booking.The room itself was extremely minimal. Aside from the bed and nightstand, the furniture was primarily foldable or designed to be hung and stored on the wall. There was no dresser, closet, iron or ironing board in the room. Instead, there was a communal ironing area and supply closet for guests to use. Even check in takes place at the bar rather than at a traditional front desk.I understand that Moxy is designed to have a younger, more social and minimalist concept, but the execution here felt more like a hostel than a cozy hotel stay.More concerning was the condition of the beds. They appeared to have little to no support framing through the middle, causing the mattresses to noticeably sink toward the center. It made the beds look and feel worn and unsupported.There may absolutely be a traveler who enjoys this type of communal, minimalist environment, but it was not what I expected based on how the property was presented when booking. I simply wish the experience had been more clearly marketed for what it is so guests can make an informed choice before arriving.

The location is great and the vibe is very hip. The room was on the smaller side but had hooks around the room and little luggage racks that made it easy to keep things tidy. The biggest downside was difficulty sleeping due to random clicking noises in the room at night, a blinking light on what I believe was the smoke detector, and the window from the bathroom into the hotel room which shines a lot of light into the room if someone uses the bathroom at night. This is not a good choice someone who wakes up easily from noise or light. Otherwise, it was a fine hotel.

The location of the hotel is great but the rooms are like living in a dorm room except there is no desk or closet so probably worse than a dorm room. The room had a 2 foot long table and so if you are on a business trip pay an extra $100 and stay at Halcyon or The JW Marriott and get a real hotel room $400 for a room was not worth the money.

Just stayed one night and it was a good centralized location for what I needed. Lots of places to eat and Wholefoods is right across the street. The front office manager, Jenna, was fantastic! Professional, nice, went out of her way to make sure everything was great for my stay. She made the experience seamless.

Great place, terrible customer service and check in. The person checking us in seemed to hate her job and not want us there at all. Brutal, we spent thousands here.
