This place is a sham. I bought a deal on Black Friday that they won't honor, I can't get anyone to call me back or return my messages. It's ashame, this is a great idea and could have been something really special. The time I went there, they let people drink beer out of glass bottles on the water and there's cigarette butts all in the sand, it's gross and dangerous. Definitely not for kids.

The concert itself was a trip back to the 70's & 80's. 38 Special, Eddie Money, & The Steve Miller Band were great! Unfortunately that was the only thing great about the night. The venue is located just east of Downtown OKC on NE 10th Street. There used to be an old ski lake, left from the dredging of a sand pit. The lakes are still there, & they have an auto-cabled wakeboard area going, along with two super water slides that drop you into the river beside the venue. The beaches around the lake are man-made with a few picnic tables thrown in for good measure. The concert area is billed as an amphitheater, but a far cry from that! The venue is fairly new and lacks no infrastructure at all. Dirt roads, dirt paths, no lights (light poles exist but run off portable generators), concession stands under portable canopies, and multiple rows of portable bathrooms. Absolutely disgusting! Having experienced only the concert portion of this place, it was enough of a nightmare to never set foot on the property again. Front office personnel were very rude & misleading as to what services were available. I was told VIP tickets afforded us nothing but free parking, a VIP section was roped off in front of the stage, no chairs provided, but bathroom facilities & concessions were available. So we carried chairs & blankets, only to find chairs had been set up after all. A trip back to the vehicle, across the property to return chairs to our vehicles. No shuttle service for handicapped patrons. And rows of portable bathrooms only. VIP area had a bathroom trailer, supposedly with lights & running water. No lights, no generator to run the lights & water. Definitely not worth the price of a VIP ticket. This place needs a major influx of cash for some serious infrastructure & owners/mgmt to care enough to ensure their customers' safety. With a lot of work, it could be a wonderful family location for fun & entertainment. I really hope it comes to fruition!

I spent five nights here in July for a concert. The lakes at Lost Lakes should remain lost. They are large ponds filled with brown water. I found a five-gallon bucket during one of my attempts to get in the water. My fellow swimmers found rusted pieces of metal and other dangerous items with their feet. We frequently lacked drinking water. The OKC police were a constant thorn in our side as they didn't care for our choice in music and decided to infiltrate the camp with undercover officers (against the wishes of the owners). This place might be okay for a concert on a single night, but I wouldn't touch the water or stay the night here. Thousands of us left with a sour taste in our mouths. For many of my fellow attendees, this was their first visit to Oklahoma, and many of them stated that it would be their last.
