Benjamin Church House (Shorewood, Wisconsin) is a wooden and brick walled structure built around 1844. A carpenter from New York resided here and thereafter it was owned by Milwaukee County Historical Society. The museum presents life of people during the mid 19th Century. You can find kitchen implements, furniture and other household artifacts used by its settlers. The house perfectly showcases the culture and history of the period.

Reviews
tripadvisorA historical 1844 house recently renovated. The house is located in Estabrook Park near picnic area 8. If you are on the Oak Park Trail and you like to see historical homes, it is worth a visit. It is open Sundays from noon to 4pm June to September. It is free but donations are welcomed. We went and were greeted by 2 friendly hosts. They were very eager and gave us a tour of the house and its historical past. The house has been nicely restored and decorated with furniture from that period.
